Deltarado Days Event Descriptions

FARM AND RANCHER LUNCHEON

THURSDAY JULY 25, 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM, AT DELTA SALES YARD

Why do we put on Deltarado Days? Because we want to celebrate our Farming and Ranching heritage! We kick off Deltarado Days every year with a luncheon for the hard working Farmers and Ranchers. Thursday July 25th at Delta Sales Yard, meet the Deltarado Days Grand Marshals, Bob and Laurie Esplin, and King and Queen, Blake Naranjo and Jaspe Arias Hernandez. Also enjoy music by Remy Baldwin.

This barbecue luncheon is our gift to those who keep agriculture alive, with the help of sponsor, American Family Insurance. Bank of Colorado provides a grill, Homestead meats provides burgers, and we get all the rest from Callaway Packing. We want to thank our volunteers for this and all of Deltarado Days. This Luncheon is truly a community gathering, put on by many folks, to celebrate many folks. Thank you all for continuing our heritage!

Hellman Offsite Sale

All Day Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Lion’s Parking

Hellman Motors started doing a car show in 2005 because it was our 50th anniversary. What was supposed to be one year only turned into a lot more! In the early years, the event was at the dealership with breakfast and lunch. Both still are cooked by the Elks Club, and the breakfast benefits DHS Junior Class and lunch benefits Delta Academy of Applied Learning. Several years ago, the Delta Street Rodders asked to do a show together. Previously their car show was the weekend after ours. So began a new tradition of sharing our car passion, with prizes and drawings. The Street Rodders began to bring in big items to use as a fundraiser for different groups. After Deltarado Days moved to Confluence Park, we decided to do an off site sale for the dealership. On Saturday people enjoy looking at classic cars and also at the new ones.

Come see Hellman Motor Company new and used cars available for purchase right here amidst all the action! Register for Giveaway drawing!
